BRK designed by ESEE

BRK designed by ESEE

BRK designed by ESEE represents a strategic expansion by the legendary survival knife makers at ESEE Knives, bringing their proven design philosophy into the everyday carry folder market. Founded by survival experts Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin, the BRK line was created to offer economical folding knives that maintain the rugged reliability ESEE is known for, while making their designs accessible to a broader audience of knife enthusiasts.

The brand focuses primarily on practical EDC folding knives with frame lock mechanisms, emphasizing survival-oriented functionality without the premium price tag typically associated with the ESEE name. BRK knives feature proven blade steels including AUS-8, D2, and SK5, carefully selected to balance edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance for everyday users who demand dependable performance.

Among their most popular offerings, the Avispa and Zancudo folders have garnered particular attention for their ergonomic designs and practical blade shapes. These models exemplify BRK's commitment to creating tools that work effectively in real-world scenarios, from daily cutting tasks to emergency preparedness situations. The designs incorporate thoughtful features like textured handles for secure grip and deployment methods that balance speed with safety.

What sets BRK apart is the pedigree behind each design. While manufactured at accessible price points, every knife benefits from the decades of field experience that Randall and Perrin bring from their work training military personnel and survival instructors. This ensures that even budget-conscious folders incorporate genuine tactical and survival considerations rather than merely aesthetic features.

For knife enthusiasts seeking ESEE's legendary design expertise in an everyday carry format, BRK delivers practical, survival-ready folders that don't require a premium investment. The brand successfully bridges the gap between affordable production knives and professional-grade tools, making proven designs accessible to anyone who values preparedness and reliability in their daily carry.

The BRK (Badass Knife) was designed by ESEE in collaboration with knife-maker Mike Perrin. The result is a tough, all-purpose fixed blade knife that can handle anything you throw at it. The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel with a black powder coat finish, and the handle is made from Micarta. The BRK is a full tang knife with a double-edged blade that measures 3.5 inches long. It has a thumb ramp for added grip and control, and jimping on the spine of the blade for added precision when cutting. The BRK also comes with a Kydex sheath for easy carry and storage.
